Hello to all today:

Thank you all for your comments on the house issue...alot of great ideas. Well I'm much calmer today! Cleaned up yesterday. Most people clean their house (or apartment) I decided to clean out my computer. It was an all day adventure!

Today I need some more help. I'm trying to decide which picture I should have for my icon. I went surfing yesterday and found some really cool pics. I just don't know which one I like the best, so I'm taking a poll. Comments welcomed!

This is probably my favorite. The only reason I haven't chosen this one is because boyfriend didn't like it....He has no taste!

Okay so this is boyfriends favorite. I love unicorns...I have four pics of them now! This one represents strength I think. It's still cool, but I don't know about the icon thing.

Okay so what do you guys think? There are other pics if you don't like any of these...or you could just say none of the above! That's okay too...maybe I need to keep looking!

Hello to all today:

Well I didn't go to school today! I know, I know...but I just couldn't get my head off the pillow. Usually I'm up and jumping around I just can't wait to get there...but not today.

It all started last night. It was like 12:30am or something and boyfriend rolls over in bed and says, "Hey, what do you think about buying a house?"

I say, "Well I think that flipping houses is a dangerous business right now." I really don't but hey what do I care? I live in an apartment right?

Boyfriend says, "No I mean us buying a house? For ourselves?"

okay okay okay. We talked a little more about it but I have some concerns and boyfriend thinks they are dumb so I am just going to lay them out here for everyone to see....I think buying a house with this man is scary! I think a mortgage with two names on the lease is a BIG commitment and I just don't know if I am ready for this next step.

What ever happened to two people living in an apartment until the their time expired? I feel like a house makes me old or something. What's next? First the house and then what? a ring? And then of course next come the children I have stated I do NOT want. And then in twenty years he will find a younger part of the female population and then I will be stuck...stuck with a mortgage I didn't want, a failed marriage I never asked for, and 2.3 children I knew I would never like...and then I would have stupid new wife to deal with. It just seems like too much.

And there's more. What if the house is haunted? What if we sign all the papers and then we move in and can't sleep because Tom and Sarah the two very friendly ghosts that live in our room keep having sex with each other? All night its moaning and screaming? No one wants to live through that right?

Okay lets say there's no ghosts. What if something breaks? Boyfriend seriously works like 70 hrs a week or something...what would I do when the roof falls in? I would stand there with a hammer and a freakin nail hoping the next piece of falling timber landed straight on my head.

And lets just say I never have that problem. What about the freakin neighbors? I've seen desperate housewives, and I must say if I want to murder someone I would really enjoy my PRIVACY!!!!!

Sorry I was on a slippery-slope there for a sec. But I guess it's not that bad...I mean do like to garden...and I would like to paint...but I could do both of those things on my balcony like every other person living in this apartment complex.

Hello to all today:

Well today I thought I would post on some of the topics in the news, and MY opinions on these topics. First, I should say that I am a left sided junkie. I am a liberal whose favorite animal happens to be very large and endangered elephants. And while I love horses, I would never get close to a donkey...I think they stink!

Mrs. Bush:
I think the first lady is a very bright and enlightened woman. I think she has a beautiful spirit and often she will stand up for good causes. However, I do not think that putting the first lady at the front and center will help her husbands ratings at all! Just because we like your wife does not mean we will start to like you. But politicians have assumed that we simple minded Americans will just fall in love with the better half of an evil and the ratings of our beloved president will soar higher than they have been in years.

The war:
While I do not believe in this war we are in now, I must not judge too critically. I am honored that there are men and women who are willing to stand up and fight for my freedom. While this war may seem to confuse me and make me believe that America is falling as a nation, I must remember 9/11. I believe that we will accomplish much throughout the next few years...even if we only prove to the rest of the world that America will stand up to the face of terrorists, and we will scream to the world that there is no one in this world who will take our freedoms and liberties away. We need to stand up and say that we are still a great nation and we will not become cowards to those who simply hate us because of our beliefs.

Religion:
This is America! This is a place where all people should be viewed as equal. If you want to pray in school or work, that is your right! I think that one should be able to worship (or not worship) wherever they want. However, I do not think that Christianity should not be taught in our schools within the curriculum of science. If one wishes to learn about God they should hold separate classes for this...or people should just go to CHURCH!!!!! I am disappointed with religion right now. It seems like people don't want to talk about God until someone says that we can't say God in schools...and then watch out! All the people who haven't been to church or even spoken God's name in years are going to get their panties in a bunch, and say that its not fair they can't continue to worship. When I attended school in the Bible belt, I never witnessed anyone praying or reading a Bible, but now everyone says they do.

Death Penalty:
I do not think that we should kill another for punishment. I really do not see how this is punishment. All capital punishment accomplishes is retribution for a family in pain, and often times this doesn't even help heal wounds! All it does is allow anger to fester. Also, I think when we allow men to make decisions that God himself doesn't make there is so much room for error. I am just not willing to put faith in a system that has proven to be altered!

Hello to all today:

I don't have much time to chit chat...but I just had to mention this. I heard that tomorrow is statistically the most depressing day of the year. They say its because it is the shortest day and after a long winter one will tend to be more depressed tomorrow than any other day of the year.

So tonight as you close your eyes to dream in dream land please remember that I love you all and I am sending you little happy sayings!

For example if you awake and just don't want to get out of bed, just imagine all those little critters that you sleep with every night. If you stay in bed for even one extra hour, there is a good chance the bugs will get into your skin and start living in your blood stream.

If you just can't find anything to live for, remember all the times you smiled in the last year!

Please oh! please don't fall victim to this years most horrible day!!!! I will be here for anyone who feels they just can't take it.

Oh, and happy worst day of the year to you all

Hello to all today:

Just wanted to inform you all that I have just accomplished a full, long day at school. This is the first time I have done anything productive since finals last semester....started going a little crazy there....but I see the sun coming up now!

Just to let everyone know...I am taking a statistics class, my second German class, my first U S History class (OH! how much fun that will be), an abnormal psych, and philosophy class. Those will be my favorites, I can already see....there will be many posts regarding those topics....hope you guys are ready to chat it up!

My computer is getting better, I still haven't fixed it yet, I think my computer is Christian Science...LOL.
