 Happy labor day

Hello to all today:

HAPPY LABOR DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So how is everyone? School started on Monday and I am now taking 18 hours. I have officially changed my major from psychology to elementary education. Big change I know...but I have enough credits in psych to double major I hope! So I am in a crash course of education. I am taking both of my foed classes in one semester instead of mixing them up, but I want to get out of there in the next two years...so I do what needs to be done.

The house is great. Boyfriend works more now than ever before...so I had to hire someone to do the yard work...boyfriend is sad because he really wanted to do the yard work himself...but it really started to look bad. The grass was so tall that it touched the middle of my shins. The bushes in the front yard grew so much that they actually blocked the entrance to the front door. It was scary out there and I would wait until the sun went down before I even came home because it was embarrassing. But now I come home with pride and have even been caught outside in the afternoon just watching the thousands of birds that call my front yard home.

Boyfriend and I will be going to the bahamas for my b-day...in November. Speaking of b-days....who decided it was ok to dump my ruling planet off as an icy-dwarf...how rude! (I know its old news but I haven't been in here in ages). I was watching the news a few weeks ago and there it was MY RULING PLANET BEING SHOWN WITH A RED "X" COVING ITS FACE! But it is ok. Apparently, its status has nothing to do with how it rules and orbits. Maybe one day I will see Pluto become a planet again. I sure hope so.

Well I am going to watch the Florida State game at a bar tonight I guess.

Hey, I have a question. Why do we celebrate labor day? Is it for the people who work? Was it started by unions? Is it for the military service people who fought in wars? No that last one doesn't sound right. So please feel free to tell me about this holiday....because I can't remember.

Another question. Can I wear white after labor day? Is it just shoes that I cannot wear?

Thanks for stopping in today:
Nik
