Hello to all today!

Today I want to keep it simple and nice.
This is my favorite things about my life:

a) taking a cat nap with my boyfriend at 3pm on a lazy afternoon!
b) saying goodnight to the sun as it falls behind the mountains!
c) looking at the city lights from my balcony!
d) a warm smile from a stranger!
e) a silly conversation with a pregnant friend!
f) finding a best friend in my sister!
g) seeing the strength of a woman in my mother!
h) watching leaves go from green to red to yellow!
i) crying for no reason other than the need to shed tears!
j) noticing the passion within myself!
k) not resisting the urge to dance when it rains!

These are some of my favorite things...(there are others) he he he

hello to all today...

Well I have a simple question to ask here in blog land. What makes one sexually attractive? I have been looking around and from my psych lectures and readings there are fundamental base elements that one MUST process to be appealing to others. However, when you ask men what they think is sexually attractive they will often list characteristics that are often portrayed in a porno!!! What ever happened to beauty being a nice face, round hips and plump breasts?

When did the stereo type become so demanding? One guy stated in class that if a woman wasn't at least 5-8, blond hair, blue eyes, and figure around 34C, 24, 32 then he wouldn't even look twice at her and never think about it again. How many of these women are out there? I mean come on now, most movie stars do not have this figure and many of them are FAKE!! So why bother? I mean what would I do if my boyfriend held these standards?

I think I should ask him what he finds sexually attractive, wait what if I don't want to know! I just think that hollywood and other mainstream entertainment have brain washed us into believing that beauty fits perfectly into a box and there is no room for others who do not fit the criteria!

It's really sad because there are very beautiful sexy women out there that see movies and TV and there it goes (their self-esteem out the window). They no longer think they are even pretty!

Then you have the men who gawk at the television and movies and say ungodly things about the women they see in make believe land-most of the time in front of their wives, and then they wonder why their wives don't think they are beautiful, or wonder why they are always sad! Let's just add one and one shall we?????

I do believe that beauty is different for everyone. If one lacks beauty physically they often have a better personality and is often happier than those who strive to be perfect on the outside. I guess I'm just a little concerned where the line is drawn in society! I would hate to think that I should be forced to live a miserable existance because I am now a size 6 instead of a size 4!

Well it's just a topic I'm exploring right now.

Hello to all today.

I logged on this morning and I thought that there was something wrong! I never made my blog this colorful so I left before I realized that YES this is my blog. How cool, I don't know how it happened but it looks cool and I'm pretty amazed!

Birthday went well, had alot of fun, lost alot of money but I had the best time! The tornado was very close to the casino we were at. Frat boy and his girlfriend were eating downstairs when the doors flew open and a trashcan hit someone in the head. Pretty scary stuff though, however for those of us who were at the black jack tables we knew no better! The whole place could have fallen and we would still be hitting on a 16!

Fun! Today I need to write a paper on transubstanation. Pretty cool stuff I'm learning these days, well I'm off to catch up on friend's blogs to see how everything went this weekend.

By the way thank you to everyone who has visited my blog, I have more than 3000 visits and I'm so thankful to you guys.

Hello to all today:

Well (takes a deep breath, holds it, releases it) I have finally made it to Friday. If you had asked me on Monday if I would ever make it here I would have spit on you! (Not really, I hate spitters)(but I would have done something horrible like stomp on your big toe!)

Today was ok. Woke up stressed...again. Went to school took 2 exams...again. Drove home to read yet another part of yet another novel...again. Then I sat up and decided I needed some new clothes.

That's all it took, I was out the door and at a store in 3 minutes flat. I bought a pair of jeans, a white ruffled shirt, and a pair of yoga paints (I believe everyone should own a pair of yoga paints, you will never want to take them off PROMISE!) And now I am waiting for boyfriend to get off work, I have to pick him up because room mate will not bring him home because his wife will be there and he wants to go out!

I have come to the conclusion that he is the rudest, most inconsiderate person that walks this earth, and I personally believe he needs to be tortured or something! I only have 14 more days though! But then again he thinks he can find a place to live in 14 days, I DON'T THINK SO! I just figure if he's not gone in 2 weeks and 3 hours I will burn everything in my house that is his! Then I will hold his truck hostage until he leaves!

My birthday is on Sunday, so boyfriend and others are taking me to the casinos to gamble! I get to play texas holdem' at a real table, I am so excited!!!! I probably won;t get on again until Sunday, and then I will most likely be very very very very sad. I'll be 25, that's like two and a half decades, that's a quarter of a century! What am I going to do? Ok I can't think about it right now, I must stay positive.....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
