Hello to all today:

Like the rest of the world...or well at least the news watching world, I once again watched our president stand up to this country and proclaim the importance of marriage in the United States of America.

OK. This is what I think...agree or disagree is great! I love to know how others feel since 70% of American's hold the same views as the Pres.

Why would allowing gay marriage into the constitution be such a huge deal? Why all the fuss? When the Pres said that marriage is at the heart of America and this is his defense for agreeing to ban gay marriage I had to scratch my head!!! Marriage in America is a joke! The only people who seem to hold any honor in the institution is gay people. All the young people I know are no longer getting married and having children! They are living with one another for years before taking that huge step into marriage. Our parents and grandparents have lived with and married and divorced for enough generations to follow! To tell you the truth perhaps if we allowed gay marriage then the divorce rate in America would finally begin to decline.

Another thing. The Pres appeared to say that marriages help people raise families. So not only would some people like to see a group of HUMAN BEINGS banned from marriage, but also raising children. What was it that Pres said...something like in the sanctity of marriage is where children learn morals and character and blah blah blah? If you believe this please return to previous paragraph!!! Children and young adults in America do not feel the same as our grandparents and parents. We see the destruction that a failed marriage can do and we carry those fears and concerns on with us into adulthood! Not to say we don't want to get married...we just want it to be true and final!

Morals and character are built through genetics and up-bringing. Why is there a fear that if two gay men raise a son there will be a lack of morals in the child? I mean come on....gay men will not "teach" their children to be gay!

When did it become acceptable for us to define marriage as a man and woman union? If 70% of Americans believe that it is wrong for two people of the same gender to marry then where are they? And what the hell are you guys thinking? Even if that number is true...then we as a group are choosing which rights we give to people...and then we control and set limits on the other 30% of PEOPLE!!!!

I heard the high and mighty Pres state that he thinks the decision should rest with the people! If it comes down to that then I think us youngsters need to come out of the wood work and state our case. I do not believe that there are 70% of people who believe in the suppression of rights...where are you guys from the 60s and 70s...shit even the 80s and 90s should feel the same.

This is not a religious issue! This is a rights issue. If you don't like gay people then grow up! Stop hating things you do not understand and get with the program! How would you feel if the government took away your right to be married...because of all the failed marriages before you?

And another thing...I love it when this government masks things and only brings things up when it is beneficial to do so. Trust me if people really wanted to ban gay marriage then they wouldn't stop until it was banned...especially with ratings like 70%.

You Are The Hanging Man

You represent the seeking of enlightenment and spiritual clarity.
You tend to confuse others, but your oddities seem deeply satisfying.
Self sacrifice is easy for you, especially if it makes you a better person in the end.
You are the type of person who is very in touch with your soul and inner spirit.

Your fortune:

Right now is a good time for reflection and meditation.
You should stop resisting the problems in your life, and let yourself be vulnerable to them.
You may need to sacrifice something important to you to move ahead in your life.
Accept your destiny with courage, and learn to let go of what you think you need.

Hello to all today:

Well it's confirmed my boyfriend has a mistress. I'm not sure what I should call her... the office?... money in the bank?.... the other love? Whatever I choose really does not matter. He will still love her almost as much as he loves me, but there has to be somehow we can get along. It's just that she demands so much of his time and while she may pay him more than I can she exhausts him, and makes me feel unimportant.

Then again, it could just be the big panties talking...

But I feel as though my boyfriend is a polygimist...AND HE'S NOT EVEN MARRIED TO ME!

I don't know I just feel a little crazy today. I'm trying to fall into new routines. Yesterday alone I washed four loads of clothes, swept, mopped, cleaned the dishes (by hand), met the neighbors and realized they are swingers(an entire other blog), vacuumed, and worked out for two and a half hours. Then I fell into the chair to watch CNN "the most trusted name in news" until I just crawled into bed around 11:30pm. Boyfriend came home sometime between then and this morning at 5:30 when I woke up.

Well all I have to say is I sure hope this mistress is paying him well. Because tomorrow he is all mine and.....

LOL

 Back to the SIMPLE THOUGHTS

Hello to all today:

Today is a butt-panty day. For those who do not understand the term butt-panty, allow me to explain.

Today I awoke and realized every muscle in my lower back was on fire. I have gained, in one night, five pounds of water that resides in my lower stomach at the moment. I have a headache that starts in my head but somehow manages to migrate to my toes. I have already yelled at the cat, at the garage man, the shower head, the hot water, the stupid bed for not being made, and the kitchen for MAKING me walk in there to get something to drink.

I have been up for a total of 46 minutes now, and I am beginning to think as though I should spend the whole day in the comfort of my bed.

For this reason, while dressing this morning I skipped all the panties I own without a butt in them. I do not need anything else to make this day more stressful or worrisome. I found the biggest, most comfortable panties I own and I proudly proclaim this a BUTT-PANTY DAY!!!!!

 Another update

Hello to all today:

Finally...all moved in! Today I went and cleaned the apartment, and brought the very last box to the new house. What an awsome feelilng!

Mom and Dad and Sister came for about five days to stay and look at new House! I really love them and I already miss them too much. There are many times that I wish I still lived next door to them, it's a real comfort to know that I have family close to me, and since Mother and I are so close it's really hard to be seperated. Who knows one day they may move to TN!

On to other news. Today I went to get 'grass cutting shoes' and there was this lady outside the store that commented on my shirt.

"Oh! What a lovely shirt you have on" she says.
"Thank you" I reply.

Then she goes into this really long spill about how she needs to get to work. She says that she has a three year old and a six month old at home and she had only had this job for like a week. She said if she didn't get to work soon she would be fired and then the government would take away her kids.

I just looked at her. I usually am one to help those who need help, but this lady gave me a funny feeling. So I went into the store and bought my shoes. Then as I was leaving I noticed she was still sitting there. So I got the store manager to check on the lady because I was worried to walk out to my car.

Come to find out the lady had warrants out for her arrest something about grand theft or something. When the police arrived I had the store police escort me to my car.

Morale????
ALWAYS listen to yourself...deep down you usually know best.
